1. Through the Nutritional Recovery Centers, provide assistance to children from low income families who suffer from severe malnutrition, by offering appropriate nourishment, medical attention, stimulation and proper care.
2. Provide orientation to assisted children’s parents on nutrition issues, and if needed, provide them with complementary food once the child leaves the nutritional centers.
3. Support national preventive efforts in nutrition, through education on adequate nutrition and by providing complementary food to pre-school and school age children when necessary.
4. Provide support to existing organized groups that are interested in finding solutions to malnutrition related problems.
 
According to the Organization’s Statutes, the following are the Directive Bodies:
  National General Assembly, composed by all members of the association
  National Directive Board, composed by:
  The national Directive Council, elected in the National General Assembly plus two delegates from each existing Nutre-Hogar chapter in national territory
  National Directive Council, composed by the Archbishop Monsignor Romulo Emiliani, Fiscal Adviser, the National President, who also leads the National Directive Board and the directives whom this president selects.
  Chapter’s Directive Board, selected every two years by the provinces’ General Assemblies. The former is made composed by the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vocal and Adviser.
  Support committees: according to the statutes, Nutre-Hogar can have all the Committees that the Board of Directors considers necessary for the adequate performance of its duties. (Currently functioning are the following Committees: Donations, Event Planning, Public Relations, Public Relations and Publicity, Health, Assets and Clothing).
  Associate Members
  Committed volunteers are associates who pay their fees and work actively in Nutre-Hogar.
  Supporters are people or private businesses who voluntarily donate money or other goods for the maintenance of Nutre-Hogar.
